The meeting which took place on the 13th of June, 2024 brought together 13 General Hospitals, 11 private facilities, and the entire staff of the state health agency. Ogbonnaya Francis Nwifuru’s commitment to addressing health challenges focused on enhancing health provision and equipping the General Hospitals to better serve the community.
Dr. Divine O. Igwe emphasized the critical need for quality healthcare across the state, highlighting the goals of universal health coverage and the pivotal role of Health Insurance in achieving these objectives. The session underscored the importance of intensive care and attention to individuals enrolled in the state Health Insurance Agency, ensuring that they receive the necessary support and medical care.
